I love to make quilts and always have loved a challenge and so after quilt book searching I come across a mcalister mcpuff which I gave a little extra special twist to. Instead of using bought material I recycled what I could and made a family heirloom. My dads old dress shirts ,my grandmas shirt and sundress,my moms dress, family cloths an old favorite in shreds craft bag and old family worn out cloths. When I look at my quilt I see all those special people and remember so many ways they have touched my life.

I love this sis!! There is nothing that says special more than a handmade quilt out of loved ones clothing. I did the same with nana & Grandpas clothing & treasure it more than anything.
